John Stamos — best known, oh who are we kidding it’s Uncle Jesse from Full House — has officially been cast in a role for Scream Queens season 2.

Stamos joins the Ryan Murphy lead horror-comedy after his own series on FOX called Grandfathered wasn’t renewed after season one debuted last year.
The new season of Scream Queens moves from a sorority house in season one to a hospital setting in season two with Stamos playing Dr. Brock Holt “the hospital’s brilliant, but secretive, head surgeon.”
In other Scream Queens news — the show has an official return date when season 2 launches on Tuesday night, September 20 at 9pm ET on FOX

Scream Queens will return several cast members from season one including Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell and Niecy Nash.
