When Jason Momoa debuts as Aquaman in the ‘Justice League’ movie, he’ll have his wife by his side.
Amber Heard plays Mera — the Queen of Atlantis and wife to Arthur Curry aka Aquaman — and she will make her first appearance in ‘Justice League’ before ‘Aquaman’ gets his own solo movie in 2018.
The first phone is the concept for Mera’s outfit for the new ‘Justice League’ movie.
The second image, taken by ‘Justice League’ director Zack Snyder, shows Mera emerging from the water and stepping onto land.
There still aren’t a lot of details about the new ‘Justice League’ movie available other than Batman is the driving force to put the team together and he travels all over the globe to gather heroes to join him in an effort to stop a supernatural force known as Steppenwolf, who is threatening the Earth. We’ve seen Bruce Wayne show up in a small fishing village where he meets Arthur Curry for the first time from the teaser trailer that debuted at San Diego Comic Con.
Now we are seeing Curry’s better half as Mera makes her first appearance as well.
‘Justice League’ lands in theaters on November 17, 2017.
