The hit FX drama ‘Justified’ will come to an end after next season according to CEO John Landgraf….

There have been rumors for a while now that FX’s hit drama ‘Justified‘ would come to an end after season 6, but the final call was made on Tuesday during a meeting with the Television Critic’s Association that confirmed the news.

FX CEO John Landgraf confirmed that ‘Justified‘ will finish its run after season 6 next year. The show just started its fifth season last Tuesday on FX.

According to the FX executive, ‘Justified’ show runner Graham Yost as well as star/executive producer Timothy Olyphant were the ones that made the final decision to bring the series to an end.

“It was Graham Yost and Timothy Olyphant’s decision,” Landgraf said on Tuesday. “I would have liked to have had more Justified, it’s one of my favorite shows.”

Justified joins another hit FX show — Sons of Anarchy — as a series closing out its run on FX in the next calendar year. Sons of Anarchy will finish with it’s seventh season starting later this year before wrapping up the hit show by creator Kurt Sutter.

The fifth season of Justified will continue on Tuesday night at 10pm on FX.
