Katherine Waterston will join Eddie Redmayne in the Harry Potter spinoff film ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’….
Katherine Waterston — best known for her roles in the upcoming biopic ‘Steve Jobs’ as well as ‘Boardwalk Empire’ and ‘Inherent Vice’ — has been cast as the co-lead for the upcoming Harry Potter spinoff series ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’.
Waterston will star alongside Eddie Redmayne, who will play the lead role in the series as Newt Scamander, a magizoologist traveling the United States to further his studies.
Waterston will play a witch named Tina (short for Porpentina) who is currently working in the U.S. when she meets Scamander.
Plot details are still under wraps with Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling in charge of the script for the movie set for release on November 18, 2016.
