Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum from the original cast of ‘Jurassic Park’ will team up together again for ‘Jurassic World 3’ due out in 2021…
The original cast of ‘Jurassic Park’ is ready to merge with the crew from ‘Jurassic World’.
On Tuesday it was revealed that Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum would all reprise their roles from the original ‘Jurassic Park’ film series to appear in the upcoming ‘Jurassic World 3’ from writer and director Colin Trevorrow.
“They’re back. Welcome to Jurassic World Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler & Ian Malcom.”
Goldblum had previously made a brief appearance in the most recent sequel — ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ — but now he’ll re-team with Dern and Neill, who will both be returning for the first time since ‘Jurassic Park 3’ in 2001.
Now Goldblum, Dern and Neill will return for ‘Jurassic World 3’ where they will meet up with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas-Howard, who are both returning from starring roles in ‘Jurassic World’ and ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’.
Plot details remain a mystery at this time, although Trevorrow did offer a slight tease about the story he has in mind for the upcoming third movie in the ‘Jurassic World’ series when speaking to EW back in 2018 following the events that unfolded in ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’.
“[Jurassic World 3] will be focused storytelling with dinosaurs all over the world,” Trevorrow said. “We really wanted this technology, this genetic power, to go open-source at the end of the film. What we’re suggesting is not just that these specific animals that we care about that were in captivity were freed, but also that the ability to create these animals has gone a little bit wider than our friend Dr. Wu. The open-sourcing of any technology, like nuclear power, that’s the scary side for me.”
‘Jurassic World 3’ will hit theaters on June 11, 2021.
