‘Lost’ star Evangeline Lilly is closing in on a deal that would see her star opposite Paul Rudd in the upcoming Marvel movie ‘Ant-Man’….
The casting news for the latest Marvel feature continues to be revealed with ‘Lost‘ star Evangeline Lilly being the latest name rumored to join the cast of Ant-Man.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Lilly is in deep talks with producers to join the cast for the film that’s scheduled to begin filming later this year for a July 17, 2015 release date.
If Lilly lands the part, she will serve as the female lead for the film opposite star Paul Rudd, who will play the title character in the project. Michael Douglas is also set to star in the movie as the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym.
Lilly is best known for her portrayal as Kate from the popular ABC series ‘Lost‘ but since the show ended she’s gone on to star in several movie projects including The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
