Luke Skywalker himself has weighed in on ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ after seeing it this week…
‘Rogue One’ A Star Wars Story’ is a movie that happens directly ahead of ‘Star Wars: A New Hope’ — the film that launched Mark Hamill’s career as Luke Skywalker, a role he’s still playing nearly 40 years later.
The story in ‘Rogue One’ focuses on the band of rebels tasked with stealing the plans for the Death Star that eventually end up with R2-D2 before landing on Tatooine and running into Luke before his epic space adventure begins.
Hamill had a chance to see ‘Rogue One’ this week and it’s clear he was impressed by what he saw on screen.

It’s a glowing review that the cast and crew behind ‘Rogue One’ will surely enjoy considering this film plays directly into the trilogy headlined by Hamill as Skywalker.
Right now, Hamill is enjoying a little down time after wrapping up filming on ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’, which will be the next film released in the ‘Star Wars’ saga at the end of 2017.
