Marvel’s ‘Iron Fist’ will debut on March 17, 2017 but the next series headed to Netflix debuted some new footage with a special trailer cut for New York Comic Con.
The show stars Finn Jones — best known as Loras Tyrell from ‘Game of Thrones’ — as Danny Rand, a man who goes missing during a plane crash and returns home 15 years later to reclaim his family’s company.
‘Iron Fist’ is the final series to debut on Netflix before ‘The Defenders’ debuts next year, which will see Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist team up together for the first time.
It was also confirmed on Saturday that Rosario Dawson will be reprising her role as Claire Temple in ‘Iron Fist’ as she continues to connect the series after first appearing in ‘Daredevil’ and then again in ‘Jessica Jones’ before her most recent appearance on ‘Luke Cage’.
