Masi Oka has officially signed on to reprise his role as Hiro Nakamura in the event series ‘Heroes Reborn’ from NBC…
Save the cheerleader, save the world.
Masi Oka, the man responsible for that famous phrase from the original ‘Heroes’ series, will put his time traveling shoes back on as he has signed on to reprise his role as Hiro Nakamura for the upcoming ‘Heroes Reborn’ event series on NBC.
“I’m excited to return to my ‘Heroes’ roots,” Oka said. “Hiro Nakamura was such an inspirational role to play, and I’m hoping the fans will enjoy seeing him back on TV.”
Oka was one of the featured stars on the original ‘Heroes’ series as a time-traveling, time stopping hero from Japan, who goes on a comic book like mission to save the world. Oka appeared on all four seasons of the original series as well.
Oka joins Jack Coleman (Noah Bennett aka The Man in the Horn-Rimmed Glasses) as the two actors returning from the original series to play a part in ‘Heroes Reborn’.
The series is expected to debut in the Fall.
