After weeks of speculation, the main characters from the upcoming ‘Deadpool’ movie have been revealed….
Production for the highly anticipated ‘Deadpool’ movie is underway and after much speculation some of the major characters for the film are finally being revealed.
Morena Baccarin — who is the female lead in the film — will play Vanessa Carlysle aka Copycat.
Copycat is Deadpool’s love interest from the comic books who actually is introduced in the same issue of New Mutants as the Merc with a Mouth. Copycat is a very talented mutant who can morph into any person all the way down to the cellular level, which means when she takes on someone’s form she also takes on their powers and abilities.
As for T.J. Miller — the comedian and actor will be portraying Weasel aka Jack Hammer, who is a friend and confidant of Deadpool’s who often time supplies the mercenary with weapons and intelligence for his missions.

And just for the sake of prosperity, Ryan Reynolds also tweeted out a picture of his character chair because the star always has to get in on the action.

The only other actress confirmed for the film with a role already announced is MMA fighter turned thespian Gina Carano, who plays underground mutant Angel Dust in the upcoming feature.
‘Deadpool’ has kicked off production with a February 12, 2016 release date for the movie.
