The highly anticipated Mr. Robot season 2 has been upped to 12 episodes as well as a new post show….
Hello friend….I hope you’re ready for more Mr. Robot season 2.
Following a breakout freshman season a year ago, Mr. Robot season 2 has already become one of the most highly anticipated shows of the summer and now the series has been upped from 10 episodes to 12 episodes this year.
USA Network ordered the additional two episodes with the entire season being directed by show creator Sam Esmail.
In addition to two more episodes for Mr. Robot season 2, USA will also debut a new post show similar to Talking Dead called Hacking Robot, that will air directly after the season premiere on July 13.
“The first season of Mr. Robot was everything we hoped for – and then some,” said Chris McCumber, President Entertainment Networks, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. “So it’s no surprise that Sam and team have raised the bar even more in season two. From the first moments of the new season, it’ll be clear that audiences are in for something incredibly special and wholly unexpected.”
The season 2 premiere of Mr. Robot on July 13 will actually feature a double-episode followed by Hacking Robot directly after the show. The series will pick up exactly one month after fsociety successfully hacked into Evil Corp and the consequences that will now fall into Elliot’s lap after orchestrating the attack.
