It’s time to go, go ‘Power Rangers’ with the first full length trailer for the upcoming film…
The new ‘Power Rangers’ movie — instead of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers — looks to reboot the classic 1990’s kids show with a brand new cast of actors portraying the famous characters along with some ‘A’ list stars joining the franchise.
Among them, ‘Breaking Bad’ star Bryan Cranston will star as Zordon, the ancient warrior who has been locked away for the past 10,000 years after battling the evil Rita Repulsa. Speaking of Rita Repulsa, she will be portrayed by Elizabeth Banks, best known for her roles in ‘Pitch Perfect’ as well as ‘Role Models’ and ’30 Rock’.
The new cast of ‘Power Rangers’ includes — Jason, the Red Ranger (played by Dacre Montgomery); Kimberly, the Pink Ranger (Naomi Scott); Trini, the Yellow Ranger (Becky Gomez); Billy, the Blue Ranger (RJ Cyler); and Zack, the Black Ranger (Ludi Lin).
The new trailer puts the ‘Power Rangers’ into action for the first time since the teaser was released several weeks ago along with a look at Cranston as Zordon.
