The line for Hall H on Friday at San Diego Comic Con just got a little shorter because ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ won’t be debuting much of anything new…
One of the most highly anticipated panels at San Diego Comic Con happens on Friday at 4:30pm PT when Lucasfilm takes over Hall H with thousands of fans packing in with hopes of seeing something new from ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’.
Well consider your hopes dashed.
According to EW, the Star Wars heavy panel at San Diego Comic Con on Friday will include director J.J. Abrams and maybe some cast members from the upcoming film, but there won’t be a new trailer and there won’t be any footage either.
Instead they will present a behind the scenes look at filming ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ while teasing other Star Wars projects on the horizon.
It’s a big let down from what most expected would be at the very least a new clip from the highly anticipated movie coming out on December 18.
Expect a few cast members to make an appearance, but otherwise don’t look for anything new from ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ to be revealed this week at Comic Con.
