Long time “Sons of Anarchy” executive producer and director Paris Barclay will team up with Kurt Sutter once again for “The Bastard Executioner”…
The wheels are in motion for “Sons of Anarchy” creator Kurt Sutter’s next project “The Bastard Executioner” about a knight in King Edward III’s army, who vows to lay down his sword after the ravages of war eat him up but then is forced to draw down again when violence touches his home land.
The project will be written by Sutter and has been picked up to pilot by FX with production to begin in 2015 in Wales.
Katey Sagal has already been confirmed for the show and now Paris Barclay, who has directed 15 episodes of “Sons of Anarchy” including the penultimate episode airing in two weeks, will take the lead for the pilot in the new series.
Barclay will team up with Sutter for the new project as well acting as director and executive producer for the debut episode.
The series will shoot in England with a fall 2015 debut date expected if the show goes to series.
