Veteran actor Powers Boothe has passed away at the age of 68 from natural causes…
Powers Boothe — known for playing a cavalcade of great villains in shows such as Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ and ‘Deadwood’ as well as movies like ‘Sin City’ and ‘Tombstone’ has died at the age of 68.
According to reports, Boothe passed away of natural causes.
Boothe first began acting 40 years ago and stayed busy throughout his career with numerous roles in television and film.
Boothe was best known for his portrayal as a villain including his turn as “Curly” Bill Brocius in the 1993 film ‘Tombstone’ as well as playing the evil Senator Roark in ‘Sin City’ in 2005.
On television, Boothe stayed just as busy with roles on series such as ’24’ as well as an iconic role on the HBO Western series ‘Deadwood’ where he played Cy Tolliver. Just recently, Boothe had spent time on Marvel’s’Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ where he played the vile Gideon Malick in 2016.

Boothe is survived by his wife and two children.
