While no actual footage has been shot for the new film, Quentin Tarantino has managed to cobble together some kind of teaser for his next movie ‘The Hateful Eight’…
And it will debut alongside his good pal Robert Rodriguez’s film ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’ opening in theaters next Friday, August 22.
Tarantino revealed at San Diego Comic Con that he would be moving forward with his next movie ‘The Hateful Eight’ after threatening to bench the project all together when a script for the film leaked out via an agent who got their hands on the material when he sent it out for prospective actors to read and join the movie.
Following a live read in Los Angeles months later, Tarantino had second thoughts and now he will be making the film with a few revisions from the original script to help keep things original.
To help amp up the anticipation for the film, which doesn’t even begin production until early 2015, Tarantino will put some kind of teaser together that will debut alongside ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’ opening next weekend. The film is co-directed by Tarantino’s long time friend and collaborator Robert Rodriguez as well as comic book mastermind Frank Miller.
In other words, if you were on the fence about going to see the ‘Sin City’ sequel, this should give you plenty of reason to be in attendance.
