The team behind “Ready or Not” and the upcoming “Scream” reboot have already booked their next horror project about a high school reunion from hell…

The team behind “Ready or Not” and the upcoming “Scream” reboot is wasting no time booking their next project.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett and Chad Villella — collectively known under their group name Radio Silence — will once again team up with screenwriters Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy for a new horror film called “Reunion” at MGM.

The synopsis of the film teases “the horrific experience of high school reunions is taken to a new extreme when a group of uninspired old friends become the only hope for survival against an unwelcome shape-shifting creature.”

The Radio Silence team has become one of the most sought after groups in Hollywood after their surprise hit “Ready or Not” starring Samara Weaving ended up pulling in nearly $58 million at the box office on just a $6 million budget.

Following the success of that movie, the team of writers and directors were afforded the opportunity to make the latest “Scream” film, which is the first sequel in that series that won’t be directed by the late Wes Craven nor written by original creator Kevin Williamson.

Their take on “Scream” was ultimately so strong that Neve Campbell ultimately decided to reprise her role as series heroine Sidney Prescott after last appearing as the character in 2011’s “Scream 4.” The upcoming “Scream” reboot will also reunite Campbell with co-stars David Arquette and Courteney Cox, who will also be returning for the sequel that just finished filming recently in North Carolina.

Once production was wrapped on “Scream,” which is due out Jan. 14, 2022, the team moved quickly to secure their next project with “Reunion” being backed by MGM.

There’s no word on how quickly casting or production could begin on this film but obviously the script is already underway with the entire team now on board for the project.
