The latest Star Wars: Episode VII casting rumor involves recent ‘Breaking Bad’ star Jesse Plemons up for a lead role…
Casting rumors for ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ have been running wild for months with several notable names attached to possible roles for the upcoming sequel directed by J.J. Abrams set for a December 2015 release date.
The latest name attached to the project is ‘Breaking Bad‘ and ‘Friday Night Lights’ star Jesse Plemons, who according to The Wrap is headed to Los Angeles to audition for Abrams next week after being called back following a taped audition the director already enjoyed.
Plemons has been a part of several major roles, but maybe none more memorable than sweet as sugar, stone cold psycho Todd, who went head to head with Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman in the show’s final season.
Now he’s attached to one of the biggest movie sequels in history as Abrams begins to put the pieces together before filming starts later this year.
The only members of the cast that are confirmed for the upcoming movie are stars that have appeared in past Star Wars movies including Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford.
Outside of those roles, take every casting rumor just as that — a big rumor.
