Channing Tatum might be up for an Oscar in 2015 for his role in ‘Foxcatcher’ and now it looks like he’s close to a role in the new Quentin Tarantino movie “The Hateful Eight”…
On the heels of a critically acclaimed performance as wrestler Mark Schultz in the upcoming film “Foxcatcher”, Channing Tatum has become one of the hottest names in Hollywood.
He just recently signed on to star in a new X-Men movie based around the character Gambit, and according to Deadline he’s currently in talks for a role in the next Quentin Tarantino feature “The Hateful Eight”.
According to the report, Tatum is close to landing a part as one of the major players in the film that will begin principle photography in January. The movie already stars Tarantino regulars Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen as well as Jennifer Jason-Leigh, Kurt Russell and Bruce Dern.
There’s no word on which part Tatum would be up for, but it would be a huge addition to his resume if he could land a part in the upcoming Tarantino film.
