Nicole Kidman is apparently in talks to join the upcoming Wonder Woman movie starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine….
It looks like Warner Bros. is pulling out the big guns for all their upcoming movies with the latest rumor placing Nicole Kidman in the upcoming Wonder Woman film from director Patty Jenkins.
According to The Wrap, Kidman is in talks with Warner Bros. currently about joining the cast that already stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Chris Pine as Colonel Steve Trevor.
While Kidman’s exact part is still being kept under wraps it appears she’s up for the part of the Queen of the Amazons, which in the comic book universe is Queen Hyppolyta — who also just happens to be Wonder Woman’s mother.
Whether that would be the same story in the film is unknown at this time.
Wonder Woman is expected to get into production in 2016 before the movie is released on June 23, 2017.
Gadot will make her first appearance as the character in next year’s Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice before moving onto her own solo film in 2017.
