According to a recent report, Diego Luna will join the cast of ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ alongside Felicity Jones…
Diego Luna — best known for his acting roles in ‘Milk’ and ‘Blood Father’ — has been cast as one of the lead roles in Gareth Edwards upcoming Star Wars spinoff film titled ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’.
The movie also stars ‘The Theory of Everything’s Felicity Jones in another lead role.
Luna is expected to play one of the rebel soldiers, along with Jones, who steal plans to the Death Star while trying to get them back to rebel leaders. The timing of the movie is supposed to take place between Star Wars Episode III and Episode IV with the film leaning more towards ‘Star Wars: A New Hope’.
‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ will land in theaters on December 16, 2016.
