Expect a lot more Archie and the gang as ‘Riverdale’ has officially been renewed for a second season…
‘Riverdale’ will still be a town with pep after a second season of the new show was ordered by the CW on Wednesday.
Based on the characters from the ‘Archie’ comics, ‘Riverdale’ takes place in a twisted tale of the original story best described as ‘Gossip Girl’ meets ‘The O.C.’ meets ‘Twin Peaks’.
The show has been very well received by critics — including weekly recaps on Nerdcore Movement — and now fans can get ready for more mysteries with season 2 of ‘Riverdale’ coming in 2018.
‘Riverdale’ is currently in its freshman season on the CW airing on Thursday nights at 9pm ET.
