The Russo brothers are hoping that fans can keep their mouths shut after seeing Avengers: Infinity War so spoilers don’t run rampant following the film’s release…
No spoilers please!
That’s a request directly from the Russo brothers — Anthony and Joe — who are the writers and directors behind the highly anticipated feature film Avengers: Infinity War due out on April 27.
Marvel has gone to great lengths to prevent any spoilers from the film leaking out ahead of its release and the only time the movie will be screened from start to finish ahead of April 27 will be during the Los Angeles premiere just before it lands in theaters across the globe.
In hopes of curbing spoilers crashing the internet after that initial wave of fans are able to see Avengers: Infinity War, the Russo brothers released a letter addressed directly at the movie going public.

“We’re asking that when you see Infinity War in the coming months that you maintain the same level of secrecy so that all fans can have an equal experience when they watch it for the first time. Don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you”
Now obviously at some point the Russo’s plea will fall on deaf ears because some folks just love to play spoilers on social media but here’s hoping that a direct plea from the directors will at least stop a few people from ruining the fun for everybody else.
Just imagine if you knew the ending to The Sixth Sense or Usual Suspects going into the movies…it’s just not as much fun and that’s what the Russo’s are hoping to stop before Avengers: Infinity War lands in theaters in just a few short weeks.
