The upcoming X-Men spinoff film titled Deadpool will indeed star Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth in the featured role…
When Ryan Reynolds first played Wade Wilson aka Deadpool in the 2009 film ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ there was still no definitive word that the popular Marvel character would ever find life in his own movie.
Just recently, 20th Century FOX optioned the film for a February 12, 2016 release date with director Tim Miller in charge of the project.
Now the movie officially has its star after Reynolds broke the news via his Twitter account on Thursday.

While Reynolds struggled trying to play DC Comics favorite Hal Jordan in the commercial bomb ‘Green Lantern’ film, he seems like the perfect person to portray the wise cracking, joke filled assassin known as Deadpool.
Hopefully his second trip in a leading role in a comic book movie goes much better than his first.
