With Agents of SHIELD season one winding down, what better way to close out the year than to have Nick Fury drop by to pay the team a visit…
The freshman season of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD is winding down, and while there have been lots of ups and downs for this new series, the best way to end things for the year is to go out with a bang.
So to make sure there’s maximum impact Samuel L. Jackson will make a guest appearance on the final episode of the season airing in May. For those of you that haven’t seen ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ this may not mean as much, but for those of you that have (and hopefully read our breakdown of the post credits scenes), Nick Fury popping up will surely have some major significance to the future of this show going into next season (if it gets renewed).
“Last week! I just shot the end-of-the-season show,” Jackson said in a recent interview.”You’re trying to get me fired and killed! I don’t talk about Marvel’s business. None of us do.”
Jackson made a brief appearance in an early episode this season in a post credit scene funny enough just after Agent Coulson’s new team completed a dangerous and costly mission. Now it appears he’ll pop back up again for at least one more episode, although how much of a role he’ll play remains to be seen.
