Saturday is wrapping up here at San Diego Comic Com and here are some of the big stories happening today:
During the panel for Warner Bros., director Zach Snyder came out at the end of the session and announced that there would be a sequel for Man of Steel (duh!) but he also had an even bigger surprise in store.
Just before wrapping up Henry Lennix hit the stage with a reading for fans:
I want you to remember, Clark. In all the years to come. In all your most private moments. I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you.
That is a very famous line from the Frank Miller classic The Dark Knight Returns – in other words Batman will be making at least an appearance if not have a major role in the next Superman film.
Who will play Batman remains to be seen but we now know there will be a crossover in the film!
Avengers 2 now has a title – Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.
There is currently an ongoing series in the Marvel universe with the same title as a futuristic world exists where the artificial intelligence robot called Ultron hunts and kills all of the mutants and heroes in the world minus a few key players who survive.
The series just wrapped so its definitely worth checking out although its unclear how much Joss Whedon’s story will mimic the one written in comic book form written by Brian Michael Bendis
