The first night at San Diego Comic Con is known as Preview Night—where fans can dabble for a few hours in the massive convention center and usually get their hands on some exclusive goodies before the crowds show up during the weekend.
The Nerdcore Movement will be live and in living color all week at San Diego Comic Con bringing you the best news, notes, pictures, releases and exclusives as we can every, single day.
Each day, a new live blog will be launched and updated sometimes by the minute, sometimes by the hour but we will be there throughout the day to update with what’s happening on the floor, in the panels and everywhere at San Diego Comic Con.
Tune back in Wednesday afternoon as Preview Night for San Diego Comic Con 2013 officially kicks off!

The DC Comics booth has a very cool display for the Superman 75th anniversary with all of the costumes from the Man of Steel and his different incarnations on TV and film
– Outside of Comic Con currently you will find a long row of fans with sleeping bags and fold up chairs already sitting in line to hopefully land a spot in the X-Files 20th anniversary panel taking place on Thursday
-Preview night is typically the time when fans line up to buy their favorite items from all of the major vendors with exclusives being offered. The Hasbro line wrapped all around their booth as fans clamored to get their hands on some big toy releases
The same could be said for the Marvel booth where they had all new merchandise available for the upcoming show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
-It was a short, but jam packed 3 hour preview for what’s to come at Comic Con this year. The heaviest presence for film and TV included Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Walking Dead, and NBC’s heavy push into a new Friday night line-up including the new show Dracula
Some of the set up for The Walking Dead at Comic Con. The show has a booth set up where fans can pose for pictures with a zombie. There is a separate booth at Image Comics featuring TWD merchandise and then there is also a video game set up for the newly released Walking Dead game as well.
In other words, San Diego Comic Con has been turned.
