If you’re headed to San Diego Comic Con next week, the big schedules for Saturday and Sunday have now been released with several feature movies and TV shows taking to the main stage.
The upcoming Hunger Games sequel as well as popular shows like Dr. Who and Sons of Anarchy will take place on the weekend schedule.
Today, we will highlight some of the best panels and their locations coming up. Don’t forget if you can’t make it to San Diego Comic Con, the Nerdcore Movement will have you covered with a daily live blog giving all the best pictures and information from the historic convention!
Saturday, July 20
10am — Bates Motel — Room 6A – The popular A&E series will land at Comic Con with executive producer Carlton Cuse (Lost) as well as series stars Freddie Highmore, Vera Farmiga and others appearing.
10:15am — Once Upon a Time Wonderland Screening — Ballroom 20 – Exclusive screening of the new show headed to ABC this fall. There will also be a Q&A with guests after the screening.
10:45am — Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures — Hall H – This multi-hour block will feature several new movies coming out with exclusive footage and Q&A’s with the cast and crews for each. Included in the block will be – Godzilla, Seventh Son, 300: Rise of an Empire, Gravity and the LEGO movie. Expect plenty of surprises in this one as well.
11am — Once Upon a Time: Off to Neverland — Ballroom 20 – Cast stars including Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison and more will appear and answer questions about this popular ABC fantasy show.
12pm — Futurama — Ballroom 20 – It’s the final season for the popular Fox cartoon so take one more trip with the Futurama cast and producers in this special panel
12pm — How I Met Your Mother — Indigo Ballroom, Hilton Bayfront Hotel – For the first time ever the hit CBS sitcom lands at Comic Con with show stars Jason Segal, Alyson Hannigan, and Neil Patrick Harris all set to appear. It seems this show will take the place of Big Bang Theory, who for the first time since the show’s launch will not appear at the convention this year (there is a writer’s room special panel but the cast from Big Bang Theory will not appear)
12:45pm — The Simpsons — Ballroom 20 – Special 25th anniversary edition panel with creator Matt Groening and special guests who will perform the musical number “We Put the Spring in Springfield”.
1pm — The Originals screening — Indigo Ballroom, Hilton Bayfront Hotel – A screening of the new offshoot project from The Vampire Diaries.
1:35pm — Lion’s Gate featuring The Hunger Games: Catching Fire — Hall H – One of the most anticipated panels at this year’s event will be the sequel to the upcoming Hunger Games film landing in theaters later this year. The new film I, Frankenstein will also be featured in the panel.
1:45pm — Family Guy — Ballroom 20 – Seth MacFarlane’s hit show is back for another year at Comic Con with several special guests appearing.
1:45pm — Marvel Infinity — Room 6A – The biggest event of Marvel’s summer will be showcased here with Jonathan Hickman, Rick Remender and Nick Spencer all appearing to talk about the upcoming series as Thanos returns to wreak havoc on the Marvel Universe.
2:40pm — Grimm — Room 6BCF – Cast and crew appear with a preview of season 3 kicking off on NBC plus a special trailer for the new series Dracula.
3:30pm — True Blood — Ballroom 20 – Stars from the hit HBO vampire drama will land at Comic Con again with stars such as Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin and others set to appear.
4pm — Being Human — Indigo Ballroom, Hilton Bayfront Hotel – Sam Witwer, Meaghan Rath, Sam Huntington and Kristen Hager are all set to appear to discuss this hit SyFy show.
4:15pm — 20th Century Fox — Hall H – Another big panel with new trailers and exclusive features being shown
4:30pm — The Vampire Diaries — Ballroom 20 – Cast and crew answer Q&A with fans
5:15pm — Arrow — Ballroom 20 – The hit CW show lands at Comic Con with cast and crew appearing as well as a special video presentation for the new season
6pm — Marvel Studios Captain America: The Winter Solder and Thor: The Dark World — Hall H – Exclusive footage from both films will be showcased in this big panel on Saturday evening.
7:15pm — Kevin Smith Q&A — Hall H – It’s an annual event now where everyone’s favorite SModCaster takes over Hall H for a special question and answer session. Always one of the highlights of Comic Con but be forewarned adult language will happen!
8pm — Hall H and Ballroom 20 playback — Room 25ABC – Replays of the big panels from throughout the day.
Sunday, July 21
10am — Supernatural — Hall H – Video presentation and Q&A with the cast and crew from the popular CW show including cast stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.
11:15am — Breaking Bad — Hall H – It’s the final season for Walter White and company on AMC this year, so this special edition panel will be a great way to say goodbye to the cast and crew of the show.
12pm — George RR Martin — Room 25ABC – Couldn’t make it to Friday’s Game of Thrones panel? Well creator and writer George RR Martin is still on hand for Sunday’s panel dedicated to his work along with his new comic book series Skin Trade
12:30pm — Dr. Who 50th Anniversary — Hall H – Once again, Dr. Who is expected to pack in a large number of fans so get there early if you want to be in line for this one.
2:15pm — Under the Dome — Room 6BCF – Cast and crew from the new hit CBS show will be on hand to answer questions about the series.
3:30pm — Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Once More with Feeling — Room 6BCF – We’ve already expressed our love for this episode, but this is a great chance to relive it all over again. This sing-a-long special rivals any screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show
3:50pm — Sons of Anarchy — Hall H – The FX biker drama returns to Comic Con with the first footage from season 6 showing during the panel. Creator Kurt Sutter along with the cast and crew will also be on hand to answer questions.
