The first footage of ‘Shazam’ debuted at San Diego Comic Con on Saturday with Zachary Levi as the latest hero to join the DC Universe…
From the look of things, ‘Shazam’ will remind a lot of people of the classic Tom Hanks movie ‘Big’ — at least based on the first teaser trailer that dropped on Saturday.
In front of a packed house at San Diego Comic Con, Zachary Levi along with Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer and director David F. Sandberg presented the first footage of the upcoming superhero flick that will be released in April 2019.
Throughout the panel, Levi referenced that he was always trying to play the same character as Angel, who portrays a young Billy Batson in the movie. Based on that premise alone when Batson is blessed with the power of Shazam! and he becomes a muscled up superhero that looks like Zachary Levi, it sounds a lot like ‘Big’.
