Actor Charlie Hunnam will be taking a decided turn from his current job where he straps on a gun and a leather cut everyday to portray Sons of Anarchy leader Jax Teller for his next role.
Hunnam has signed on to portray Christian Grey in the film adaptation of the popular book ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ as announced by the book’s author on Twitter on Monday.
The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

The film also cast Hunnam’s co-star on Monday with Dakota Johnson filling the role of Annastasia Steele.
Universal released the following statement about the casting on Monday along with a brief description of the film series:
Charlie Hunnam will star as Christian Grey, the lead male character in Universal Pictures and Focus Features’ highly anticipated film adaptation of “Fifty Shades of Grey,” it was announced today. He joins Dakota Johnson, who will star opposite him as Anastasia Steele. The film, which will be released by Focus Features on August 1, 2014 in North America, is being directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti alongside E L James, the author of the #1 bestselling book on which the film is based.
“Fifty Shades of Grey” follows the relationship of 27-year-old billionaire Christian Grey and college student Anastasia Steele. Subsequent novels in the series, “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed,” explore the couple’s deepening relationship.
Hunnam is currently filming his role for Sons of Anarchy currently, but his part in season six of the show will wrap up later this year, freeing him up to begin filming on Fifty Shades of Grey
