In what will likely be an action packed week of news at San Diego Comic Con, Sony got the jump start with announcing that ‘Amazing Spider-Man 3’ is being pushed until 2018…
The ambitious hopes of Sony wrapped around the Spider-Man franchise took a slight hit on Wednesday as the studio announced that upcoming plans for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 3’ would be pushed from 2016 until 2018.
There was no exact reason given for the delay at the time of the announcement.
But in good news, the upcoming all villain feature ‘The Sinister Six’ will get a bump up in release date with that film now expected to hit theaters on November 11, 2016.
Plans are in place for other Spider-Man offshoot films as well, but no further announcements were made on Wednesday regarding those films.
