The cast of Star Trek Beyond posted a video tribute to the original Mr. Spock, Leonard Nimoy, so get your tissues ready….
The cast of Star Trek Beyond have been posting several videos lately touting a fan contest to win a trip to the set while they donate money to charity for the cause, but the latest invitation also came with a tribute to Leonard Nimoy.
Nimoy of course played Mr. Spock throughout the original Star Trek series as well as numerous sequels including the rebooted Star Trek universe first launched by director J.J. Abrams.
Nimoy passed away earlier this year at the age of 83.
The latest film reunites the same cast although this time Justin Lin is the director in charge with a script by Doug Jung and Simon Pegg. Star Trek Beyond opens in theaters on July 8, 2016.
