There are 30 theaters across the United States and Canada that will get an 88-second sneak peak at Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens with a special trailer debuting this weekend…
Leave it to J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm to find a reason to send every nerd in the United States and Canada to a nearby theater this weekend as the first trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will officially debut on Friday.
To make matters worse, there are only 30 theaters getting the 88 second trailer, which will mark the first footage seen from the new Star Wars sequel. The trailer will run during all movies starting on Friday. The rest of the world will have to wait until December to see the new footage.
