There was always a good chance that the ‘Star Wars’ fan celebration weekend would yield some new video from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and before you know it here is the second trailer for the upcoming film set for release on December 18.
The new trailer once again focused mostly on the new characters in the Star Wars canon but there was a great voiceover that mimicked the speech given by Luke Skywalker in ‘Return of the Jedi’ where he reveals his family heritage and their connection to The Force.
Also don’t miss the fallen Imperial Star Destroyer laid out in the desert sand as well as the melted helmet that once belonged to Darth Vader, which was last seen being burned by his son Luke at the very end of ‘Return of the Jedi’.
The new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer is packed full of goodies so watch it at least a dozen times. We sure did.
