The upcoming Stephen King time travel series 11.22.63 starring James Franco finally has a release date along with a few new photos from the show….
Following the end of Under the Dome on CBS just recently, the next Stephen King led project will land on Hulu as the nine-episode limited event series titled 11.22.63 is now set to debut on February 15, 2016 — which just happens to be President’s Day.
That’s significant based on the story in the series as it follows James Franco playing Jake Epping, a high school history teacher who discovers a time travel portal and he goes back to 1963 to stop the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
The series stars Franco, Chris Cooper, Josh Duhamel, Cherry Jones and Sarah Gadon.
Hulu will debut the series on Feb. 15, 2016 and then release a new episode each week, unlike other streaming services such as Netflix that will dump an entire season in a ‘binge’ format with all the episodes released at once.
