‘Supergirl’ season 2 will finally showcase the Man of Steel in action and we’re getting our first look at the new Superman….
When ‘Supergirl’ season 2 debuts on the CW on Monday, October 10, the show will still look very much the same except for one big addition — Superman will finally make his first appearance on the show.
‘Teen Wolf’ star Tyler Hoechlin will play the part as Supergirl’s famous cousin from Metropolis and now we’re getting to see him in action for the first time.
Hoechlin will debut as Superman in the opening episode during ‘Supergirl’ season 2 as he teams up with his cousin to face off with a new bad guy threatening National City.
From all reports, the new version of Superman is much closer to the comic book version fans have come to know and love and a much lighter interpretation of the character when compared to the darker, moodier Man of Steel created by Zack Snyder in the recent incarnation from the DC film universe.
