The cast for ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’ is growing with WWE superstar Sheamus as the latest confirmed addition….
They are pulling out all the stops for ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’ with the newest cast member coming from the world of professional wrestling.
WWE superstar Sheamus — real name Stephen Farrelly — has been cast as Rocksteady, one half of the punk rock duo along with Bebop who help the Shredder in his constant pursuit of the Ninja Turtles.
Sheamus was captured on set filming his part alongside Gary Anthony Williams, who is playing Bebop in the upcoming movie.
Rocksteady and Bebop were henchmen of The Shredder in the classic Ninja Turtles cartoon series. The pair were part of a street gang hired by The Shredder to take down reporter April O’Neil before they were eventually mutated into a humanoid warthog and rhinoceros.
It appears in the upcoming movie they will at least start out as humans played by Williams and Sheamus.
‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’ opens in theaters on June 3, 2016.
