Kevin Smith might be the most dedicated super fan of The Flash and now he’ll get the chance to direct the show for a second time…
Kevin Smith received rave reviews from the cast and crew on The Flash after directing an episode for season two that airs next week on May 10 titled “The Runaway Dinosaur” and now it looks like he’ll be back for season three as well.
Smith has been confirmed as a director for an episode of The Flash early in season three, which will begin filming in Vancouver this August.
Warner Bros. was apparently very impressed with Smith’s work on The Flash season 2 and his enthusiasm for the show was infectious according to the cast members who worked with the Clerks director over the eight day shoot.
There’s no word on which episode Smith will helm or if it’s possible that he could direct more than one episode next season.
The Flash is just about to wrap up season two with the season three renewal already in the bank from the CW.
Take a look at the preview for Kevin Smith’s first episode of The Flash, which airs next Tuesday night on the CW
