Mary Ellen Trainor — best known for playing the mom in ‘The Goonies’ as well as ‘Monster Squad’ — has passed away at the age of 62.
Trainor appeared in several major film franchises over the years, most notably her role in all four ‘Lethal Weapon’ movies alongside Mel Gibson and Danny Glover and the first installment from the ‘Die Hard’ series as well.
She also had a part on the series ‘Roswell’ as well as the cult hit ‘Parker Lewis Can’t Lose’.
