The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will open in theaters on May 2 and it appears just about every villain from the character’s history will also appear in the movie.
Okay that may be overstating things a bit much, but following the first film that featured Spidey taking on the Lizard in a solo battle, the sequel is jam packed with webslinger favorites like Electro, The Rhino, The Spider Slayer and now of course Green Goblin.
Dane DeHaan was already announced as being cast for the role of Harry Osborn and he has popped up in a few trailers for the movie as well. So it stands to reason that in a two hour movie, he should also make some kind of appearance as the Green Goblin — possibly setting up a showdown with Spider-Man for the third movie in the trilogy?
