‘The Walking Dead’ has released the first teaser trailer for the second half of season 9 with a truly creepy look at the Whisperers…
‘The Walking Dead’ hasn’t really been a horror show for quite some time but that might change with the arrival of The Whisperers in the back half of season 9 when the show returns on Sunday night, February 10.
Led by a woman named Alpha, The Whisperers are a group who conceals their identity by wearing the skin of the dead over their own faces and bodies as they roam amongst a heard of zombies. The survivors got their first taste of the Whisperers during the mid-season finale when Jesus was stabbed and killed by the group while they were trying to escape a cemetary.
Now the Whisperers are set to debut in a big way when ‘The Walking Dead’ returns for the final eight episodes of season 9.
The new teaser trailer gives a closer look at Alpha — the leader of the Whisperers — as she crafts the dead skin that will serve as her face to walk amongst the dead. If this doesn’t give you the chills, nothing will!
