What will The Walking Dead spin off show focus on and what story line may take place? There are a few rumors floating around….
The Walking Dead will debut a spin-off series on AMC in 2015 and a few rumors are starting to circulate about the show and what it will be about when production starts.
The facts about the spin off thus far is the fact that it will not involve any of the characters already a part of The Walking Dead main show, and will take place in a completely different location than our current survivors.
We also know the show will not be based in any way, shape or form on Robert Kirkman’s source material from the original comic books.
The rumors starting to swirl and first reported by TVLine.com are that the new zombie filled show will be based around a town when the undead first start rising from the grave and pouring into the streets.
One aspect of Kirkman’s series that has never been covered is how the zombie apocalypse actually started or how the world truly fell apart once the dead started walking the Earth. It seems like an easy enough concept to give the spin-off show its own story and characters that would be separate from the other series.
Now these details remain only rumors for now and there’s a lot of time between here and the beginning of production next year, but in terms of plausible story this one seems to hold some water.
