Tom Holland is notorious for leaking spoilers so he was extra careful to only tell the title of the new Spider-Man sequel due out next year…
Tom Holland just can’t keep a secret.
Notorious for letting spoilers slip, Holland released a hilarious Instagram video on Saturday where he “apologized” for not being able to share any secrets surrounding the upcoming Spider-Man sequel that’s due out next year.
That was of course until Holland held up his iPad with his script that showed the title of sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The new film will be called Spider-Man: Far From Home.
The new Spider-Man film is due in theaters on July 5, 2019 with Jake Gyllenhaal on board to play the villain Mysterio in the upcoming sequel that will re-team Holland with director Jon Watts.
Holland also jokes during the video that he’s not sure exactly how there will be a sequel considering his fate during Avengers: Infinity War.
Spider-Man: Far From Home also seems to indicate that Peter Parker may be stepping away from his home in New York to travel a bit for the upcoming sequel but as of now there are no story details available for the highly anticipated movie.
At least now we know the name as the world anxiously awaits Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019.
