Top Five Villains in Dexter History

Through seven seasons and a lot of murders, Dexter Morgan has become one of the most popular and discussed characters in television history. This Sunday will mark the start of his final journey as Dexter comes to a close in season 8.

Over the past few years, the character of Dexter Morgan (played so brilliantly by Michael C. Hall) has battled his own demons as well as more than a few big bads that challenged him to not only keep his secret, but to get rid of the real threats to the citizens of Miami.

Dexter has battled his brother, a psychopathic love interest, a district attorney and one of the world’s most sadistic and evil serial killers while trying to cover his nightly bloodlust with a mask of humanity by trying to lead a normal life.

As we embark on the final season of Dexter, today we will look at the five greatest villains that Dexter has tangled with over the last seven years. There appears to be another big bad on the way for season 8 called “The Brain Surgeon” but like every season of Dexter, there will surely be a few twists and turns along the way.
