With ‘True Blood’ officially wrapping up its seven season run on HBO, the actors and actresses from the series will be moving on to different roles and it didn’t take long for everyone’s favorite baby vampire to get snatched up on a major new series.
Deborah Ann Woll — best known as Jessica from ‘True Blood’ — will portray Karen Page, the long time love interest of Matt Murdock, on the new ‘Daredevil’ series from Marvel airing on Netflix.
For those not in the know about the character — Karen Page was the legal assistant for the law firm run by Matt Murdock (Daredevil) and his business partner and best friend Foggy Nelson. Eventually, Karen becomes romantically involved with Matt and the two have a rollercoaster ride of a life together including a major storyline that focused on her drug addiction.
With Woll cast as Karen Page, that leaves speculation open once again on the role that Rosario Dawson will play since she’s also taken a major part in the series, but her character has yet to be revealed.
‘Daredevil’ will debut on Netflix in 2015 and is currently in production in New York.
