“Fear the Walking Dead” will come to an end with the final six episodes of the long running spinoff starting on October 22 on AMC…
“The Walking Dead” universe will never die but the first ever spinoff from the series is coming to an end with the final six episodes of “Fear the Walking Dead” set to debut on October 22 on AMC.
With numerous series either currently airing — such as “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” — as well as several others in production including the long awaited series focused on the returns of Rick Grimes and Michonne, “Fear the Walking Dead” was the first ever spinoff to find success after “The Walking Dead” became a pop culture phenomenon.
Now the second half of season 8 will bring “Fear the Walking Dead” to a conclusion with six episodes that will wrap up the storylines for those characters. Here’s the synopsis for what remains:
“Now that Shrike (Maya Eshet) and her influence are gone, Madison (Kim Dickens) sets sights on transforming PADRE into the safe haven the old Stadium was meant to be. But in doing so the island becomes a target as well as a beacon as word of Madison and this land of resources spreads, attracting unwanted attention that puts PADRE back in peril and questions whether our heroes even deserve to save it.”
“Fear the Walking Dead” has come a long way from the start of the series, which actually showed the very beginning of the zombie outbreak — something “The Walking Dead” series never bothered to tackle. Now eight seasons later, a lot has changed on “Fear the Walking Dead,” which included the return of Kim Dickens to the show for the final season.
