“Ghostbuster: Frozen Empire” will land in theaters on March 22 and the first full length trailer has arrived.
The upcoming film will reunite the classic cast including Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts reprising their roles alongside a returning cast from “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” with Paul Rudd, Carrie Coons, Finn Wolfhard and McKenna Grace all coming back as well.
Here’s the plot synopsis for the new film:
“In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.”
Jason Reitman — son of original “Ghostbusters” director Ivan Reitman” — directed “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” but this time he’ll serve as a writer and producer alongside Gil Kenan, who leads the project.
