Following months of speculation, ‘Fast and Furious’ star Vin Diesel has been confirmed for the upcoming film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’…
Vin Diesel first teased a possible role in a Marvel film at San Diego Comic Con all the way back in July, but only now has it become official.

Diesel will voice the ‘man-tree’ beast known as Groot in the upcoming ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ feature that opens in 2014. Diesel joins Bradley Cooper on voiceover duties as he will serve up the words for furry sidekick Rocket Raccoon in the new movie.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ has already finished principle filming for the movie, but now it’s a matter of going in and adding effects, CGI and of course the voices of Diesel and Cooper to their characters respectively.
‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ opens on August 1, 2014 in theaters nationwide.
