On March 9 following the debut of season 3 of ‘Bates Motel’, A&E will premiere the new series ‘The Returned’, based on the original French series of the same name — ‘Les Revenants’ in French — where a small town deals with the repercussions of the dead coming back to life years after they were supposed to be gone.
Unlike a series such as ‘The Walking Dead’, these people aren’t hunting for human flesh but instead searching for the loved ones they left behind. There’s no rhyme or reason why they’re back…or is there?
