American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy announced via Twitter on Tuesday that Wes Bentley — best known for his role in ‘American Beauty’ as well as playing Edward Mordrake in American Horror Story: Freak Show — will join the newest season of the show as a series regular.

Bentley guest starred in three episodes during Freak Show playing a mythical reaper named Edward Mordrake but now he’ll join American Horror Story Hotel as a full-time cast member for the upcoming season.
Bentley joins Matt Bomer and Lady GaGa, who are both set to star in the upcoming season as well.
American Horror Story Hotel will debut on FX this October.
